Soon it became a societal phenomenom, topping Google and MSN search result lists. Dr. A. Bell as a Visioner

"...retrospectively, 80s brought us Personal Computer, 90s introduced Internet... Well, the 3rd Millenium started and what is the "Big Thing" of our decade so far? I guess, someone would possibly think of iPod (smile:). And what should be considered the most important technological trends of our time, the next "Big Things"? Here is a Top-5 list as I can see it:
  • Alternative Renewable Clean Energy
  • Space Commercialization
  • Web-based knowledge sharing and Education
  • Web-based interactive Media: Radio and TV
  • Internet as a political instrument
These five would potentially have tremendous socio-economical impact and affect many aspects of our daily life as an individuals and a society as a whole..."
